Playing Cards
These playing cards will be printed on quality cardstock and the linen texture upgrade, so they will last a long time and be a lot fun to use! We want these cards to be the nicest cards people have, so they are the ones they reach for when they want to play games with family and friends.
Impressions
Family and friends will be delighted to play with this deck of cards over and over again! That means your ad space will have repeated impressions, for a much higher impact! Advertising on these playing cards is a much more effective way to advertise- your print advertisement won't end up in the garbage like junk mail.
We are printing 5,000 decks of cards. Each deck of cards will be enclosed in a glossy tuck box meant for retail use. A "Discover Utah County Discount Card" will also be enclosed in each box along with the deck of cards. Each of the 5,000 decks of Discover Utah County Playing Cards will be identical, and any playing card ad space(s) you purchase will be in each deck.
Because people will be purchasing the deck of cards, they are way more likely to be played with and looked at repeatedly. They aren't like the junk mail ads that people immediately throw in the garbage.
If each deck gets played by 10 different people 25 times, and your card is seen 5 times each game, the total impressions of your ad space on one deck would be 1,250 impressions per card x 5,000 decks = 6,250,000 total impressions for $295! Wow, what a great deal!! Compare that to the cost of direct mail, and this is a spectacular deal.

We will not allow direct competitors to purchase space on a playing card in the same deck as yours once we receive payment. The first company that we receive payment from gets it.
Face cards and aces are currently reserved for those that want all four cards in a set.
Artwork
Only one brand per card- please don't subdivide the card to fit more than one logo on the card.
Card size is 2.5" x 3.5" with rounded corners.
Ad space is 1.75" x 2.85" with rounded corners. You can submit the artwork without rounded corners and we will make them round on our end. Please email the artwork to jessica@jaytadesigns.com by the end of March.
Or, we can design the artwork for your ad space for an additional $30/hr. We will make changes to it until you are happy with how it looks. You would email your logo and any words you want to jessica@jaytadesigns.com, and we will put it together and email you a copy. Then you would let us know if you want anything changed to it. If it's just minor changes, we can do all that in about 1 hour. Your ad needs to be finalized by the end of March.
Discount Cards
The card will be the size of a credit card, so it will be easy for people to carry in a wallet = repeated impressions for your advertisement!

Because people will be purchasing the discount cards, they are way more likely to be used and looked at repeatedly. They aren't like the junk mail ads that people immediately throw in the garbage.
If each card gets looked at twice per week for 60 weeks, that's 120 impressions per card x 5,000 cards = 600,000 total impressions for $45-$125! Wow, what a great deal!! Compare that to other advertising methods, and this is a spectacular deal.

Distribution and Timeline
We are printing 5,000 decks of cards, which will be distributed around Utah County starting in June 2023. Each deck of cards will be enclosed in a glossy tuck box meant for retail use. A "Discover Utah County Discount Card" will also be enclosed in each box along with the deck of cards.
The outside of the box will exclaim "Includes a deck of playing cards and a discount card good at over x number of Utah County Businesses!"
Preorder
We give those that purchase an advertisement either on the playing cards or on the discount card the opportunity to preorder the cards for less than the wholesale price.
$1.50 per box of playing cards with an enclosed discount card, and must be purchased in multiples of 72.
Wholesale
Those not advertising with us may buy any remaining boxes of playing cards.
$2.50 per box of playing cards with an enclosed discount card, and must be purchased in multiples of 72.
MSRP
The decks have a MSRP of $10. Other discount cards sell for $20. Ours is only $10 and comes with a nice deck of playing cards! Even though we are confident in the MSRP $10 price, there is enough wiggle room that companies could sell for as low as $3-5 to move them quicker and still make a good profit margin.
We are confident that all the decks will be bought from preorders or wholesale orders. If not, Jayta Designs will sell any remaining decks of cards by getting booths at fairs and boutique types of places around Utah County.
Estimated Timeline
Now - end of March- Submit the artwork for the playing cards and exact wording for the discount cards (we can help you, just ask).
Mid April- Digital proofs will be emailed to you. Please reply and approve them, or let us know what needs changed, in a timely manner.
End of April- Send digital files to get printed.
Beginning of July- Jayta Designs receives the physical decks of cards
Mid July- Preorder and wholesale orders get distributed to companies and hit the shelves around Utah County and Salt Lake City
The plan is for the advertisements on the playing cards and the discount card to be looked at and ready to influence buyers in time for Q4 spending.
